Description: Gaffney SC is where our Freightliner Chassis was made so we bring Tawanda here for regular service. There are 6 work bays and 20 rv sites with 50A electric hookup. We were on
site 5 and in work bay 5. Dump station and water take on as you enter the fenced area. Near I-85 at exit 92.
Trash and Recycle: Dumpster on site.
Activities: Time for regular service plus our check engine light had recently come on indicating the DEF temperature sensor needed replacing. Arrived on Thursday for a Friday morning appointment. Left on Saturday after they topped off our cooling fluid. We spent a beautiful day at Cowpens National Park Battlefield while Tawanda was being serviced. There is a nice Visitor Center with an educational film about the battle that happened here on January 17, 1781 between the Patriot Continentals and the British. There is a nice 1 mile trail on Green River Road (dirt path) where the actual battle occurred. There is also an original log home (1828) on the property. It is surrounded by a 3 mile one way auto loop road.
