Description:  Our lot is in the back of this nice park next to Dan and Tricia.  All sites are 50A FHU with paved roads and concrete pads.  The sites are 45’x80’ for the most part.  Nice pool at the clubhouse which now has an exercise room.  Located about 6 miles from the laid back clamming village of Cedar Key on the Gulf Coast.

Trash and Recycle:  Leave your bags curbside by 11:00am and it will be picked up.  They take all kinds of recycle here.

Activities:  We had a really slow paced winter here this year.  I took almost no pictures because I just wanted to enjoy the moment more.  As usual, there were lots of social activities at the clubhouse. It was different this year since Tricia worked in the office a few days during the week. Dan broke his ankle when he dropped his scooter in December. Gin and I drove the truck to NC a couple of times to help her folks with some health issues.  I did manage to go to the Morningside Nature Center in Gainesville with Maggie in November.  It’s a nature center/educational farm.  They have an operational old homestead farm with an active sugar cane press.  I joined Tricia, Ed, Lynn, Bill and Linda in meeting up with Howard and Linda at Cedar Lakes Woods and Gardens in Williston for an educational private tour.  Gin and I bought new Hobie Mirage kayaks and took them out a couple of times.  We used our Gheenoe a couple of times too and then sold it in April just before leaving.  We hope to find the right deck boat next year.  There were many campfires and days spent smoking meat with Dan.  A couple of weeks before we left, we noticed a bird nest in our bush next to our dining table window.  A cardinal was trying to raise three babies pretty much by herself.  Only one made it. Gin saw it fly away safely.  The day before we left, we had our slide toppers replaced by Dan Joyce, a mobile tech out of Trenton.
