Description:  Small campground right on Hwy 2 next to the Androscoggin River.  The road noise dies down at night.  Narrow gravel sites and road with plenty of grass and shade from the trees next to the river.  We were on site 6 with W/E (50A) next to T&D.  Most sites have 30A.  Showers and dump station are extra cost.  Interesting local couple own the place and you can tell that they work hard to make it a nice place.  He is building a log cabin for them made with telephone poles and doing it mostly by himself.  Beautiful work and idea.  Good place for a short stop over.

Trash and Recycle:  Trash barrels at rear of sites along the tree line.  They recycle the returnable bottles and cans only.

Activities:  We asked the owners what would be a good relaxing thing to do in the area and they told us about Height of Land which is a beautiful scenic overlook on Hwy 17 about 30 miles away.  Other than that, we all just relaxed after being tourists for a while.
