Description: Dirt/gravel roadways and sites. No picnic tables but all pull-thru sites with FHU (50A). We stayed in site 406. The campground is right beside I-95 (exit 157) behind a vacant hotel. Several long term residents. They don’t accept PPA during the winter (November-March) because they are pretty full with snow birds.
Activities: We just stayed here for a one night stopover along I-95. We washed several loads of clothes since we had FHU. We don't plan on staying here again however.

We stopped by there a few years ago in the middle of April and the lady behind the counter refused to give us the PPA rate. She said that it was because of all the snow birds heading North and pretty much said that if we didn't like it, we could go someplace else. We went someplace else and haven't been back since.

ReplyDeleteI just ran across that campground yesterday as I was plotting our path south. I think we'll stick with a stop at Bass Lake in Dillon again instead of traveling a bit further. Thanks for the review!
